To the Editor:
Senator Jane Kitchel works hard for Vermont communities. She has been an advocate for veteran benefits, created legislation to improve private property rights, assisted with financially stabilizing public transportation, and worked hard to reduce the number of Vermont children living in poverty.
It is not often that we see a public official working in a non-partisan way. I believe this has enabled Jane to get work accomplished in health care reform, victims' rights and compensation, and the overhaul of child welfare and juvenile delinquency laws.
Jane has helped local communities with food banks, public health, school aid, protecting town water supplies, and controlling invasive plant infestation of Vermont lakes and ponds.
We continue to need Jane Kitchel working for our communities and Vermont.
