As a lifelong resident of Bradford, I want the best for my community.
For the past six years, Bradford and the surrounding towns have
been represented in the Vermont State Senate by Jane Kitchel. The
more I have worked with Jane the more impressed I am. She cares
about what is going on in our town. She routinely comes to community
events - not just when it is campaign season. When we need an answer
or assistance, she is to person who helps us make government accessible,
understandable and responsive.
For the past several years, I have been leading an effort to build
an assisted care facility in Bradford. This is a project that is
being supported by many Bradford residents. As to be expected, there
are many complexities to the undertaking as well as the involvement
of a number of state and other agencies. Jane agreed to be a member
of the board for this facility. She has brought a knowledge of state
programs and resources that has been invaluable to the process.
Because I have had the benefit of working directly with Jane on
this effort, I know what a hard worker and committed individual
we have to represent us in Montpelier.
I feel fortunate to live in a town represented by Jane Kitchel.
She too wants the best for the communities she serves. If 51% of
all legislators were like her, we would have fewer problems in the
state. Jane works hard for us and deserves our vote on November
2nd.
